What your role will encompass

As a Product Manager + Designer at CoHost, you’ll be at the heart of our user experience—driving research, design, and quality to ensure our platform delivers real value to our customers. You’ll work side-by-side with our VP of Product to transform ideas and insights into impactful features—shepherding them from early concept and user pathway mapping, through design, testing, and launch.

Your work will blend user empathy, design excellence, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll help measure the success of our features, assess the UX impact of new and existing capabilities, and work directly with customers to onboard them, gather feedback, and answer key support questions. Every insight you uncover will help refine our product, improve retention, and attract new users.

In this role, you will:

  • Turn demo data into actionable UXR insights alongside our VP of Product to inform roadmap, sales, and marketing
  • Manage and analyze CoHost’s support line data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead post-sale onboarding, including account launches, migrations, and enterprise intro calls
  • Build and refine customer personas based on real-world data
  • Map the customer lifecycle, identifying behaviors and traits at each stage to guide communications, campaigns, and design decisions
  • Run regular user feedback surveys and translate results into product recommendations
  • Collaborate with the VP of Product to run beta programs for new offerings
  • Learn our sales demo pitch and step in to deliver it when needed

Design and delivery:

  • Bring features to life from brief, brainstorm, and research through to polished, ready-for-development designs
  • Apply analytical design thinking—considering data flows, technical costs, and performance tradeoffs
  • Create clear, developer-ready handoff packages and secure approvals from the CTO and VP of Product before build begins
  • Write design-focused acceptance criteria and assist with user story creation
  • Lead human QA for new launches, ensuring features meet acceptance criteria and deliver an exceptional UX
  • Maintain QA boards, test thoroughly, and provide actionable feedback to the dev team
  • Collaborate closely with development team to create launch product features
  • Communicate efficiently via Slack, Loom, and Google Meet to resolve issues quickly

Who you are

Experience and skills:

  • 4+ years of product design experience, specifically for SaaS software products
  • 2+ years of product UXR (User Experience Research) experience, specifically for SaaS software products
  • Strong data-driven design skills, with proven experience designing products that incorporate complex analytics systems
  • Proficient in translating qualitative and quantitative research into actionable product insights
  • Strong understanding of user lifecycle mapping, persona development, and behavior-driven design decisions
  • Experience designing for enterprise-level clients and managing onboarding flows from initial engagement to post-launch
  • Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools) and comfort creating design documentation, user flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Proficiency in Mixpanel or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including writing and reviewing user stories and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting designs, user insights, and feedback to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of running successful beta programs, feedback surveys, and QA processes to ensure product quality and adoption
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success to align product design with business objectives
  • Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced startup environment, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working directly with users in a support/customer success capacity
  • Experience in the podcast or media industry
  • Experience working with Stripe billing systems
  • Experience with Looker Studio
